If you have David change them to a French wire back think about allowing them to articulate. If you would like that. I enjoy a little movement with my dangles. However they’re gorgeous as is too.

I love the @ceg! I always thought lever backs were more secure than French hooks. I avoid them for that reason and have never lost a leverback. I have had French hooks come out of my ear with the little silicon finding. They slide down the hook and I have caught them with my sunglass arm and sent them flying. These are a beautiful pair of earrings and they look fabulous on you. I hope you wear them often and get tons of compliments!

If you are really worried, maybe you can try the Russian leverbacks? I think they are more secure, and have a more antiquey look.

Actually I had them changed to a low gauge French hook. The leverback didn't hang right on me. My piercings are stretched (thanks 80s) and the leverback accentuated it. The thicker gauge hooks work very well for masking the stretch and I use silicone backs. I change the backs often so they are always snug and secure.

They look better on my ear. But they hardly articulate. I found out I am not much of a dangle girl. I tend to tighten them all the way with the silicone back so that they will barely move. I like them that way and wear them a lot. When they were leverback I didn't wear them.
