It's gorgeous! That colour is so good! The cut looks great, especially as you want a shallow gem. I think it will look super once it's set

Hey y'all - those are directly from RusGems, the same guy we got our Paraiba YAG from. I corresponded with him a while back and he send me that color sample photo. You can find him on Etsy, Ebay, and directly (RusGems.com).

I was thinking 113-G would most likely be "cobalt" in color.

i think it's just the pictures. need to see a photo of both in natural lighting to get a better idea. i hope you find the perfect color!

I'm not sure - I wasn't told and I didn't ask. I would guess that it's probably 106 from Rusgems or 107 from the Chinese chart.

Here's some discussion about the Djeva spinel. But it looks like you're likely going to have to find a cutter that already has some.

You may be able to order some from Interpacific. And I'm pretty sure that Djeva 120 is the color used by Doug Menadue of Bespoke Gems when he posted some a while back and referred to it as "cobalt"....if I recall correctly.
