Open two stone necklace/collar?

So a few months ago I got a two stone open bangle made with a pair of WF ACAs and I love it and have worn them every day since.

I also had a pendant made in memory my late pupper who passed a month ago. And I’ve also been wearing that daily.

Which means that my two stone diamond pendant isn’t being worn much and I’m thinking of resetting it into a shorter style that I can stack with my paw pendant if I want to.

I was considering an open style necklace similar to the bangle becaus I love the look and the convenience (yay no clasp!!). Does anyone have experience with anything similar or have other suggestions?

Here it is, but please excuse my less than lovely neck. It is sterling silver and Tahitian pearls. It's actually a bit pliable, so I can bring the center pieces closer together.

I had one - a simple gold torque that took quite a bit of adjustment to fit the shoulder line; it never got quite right so it was terminated. I still want one.

What an interesting idea!! Would love to see this- I imagine it would need to be fitted to your personal shape quite exactly to sit just right, but would look amazing!
