I’m replying to my own thread because sometimes things don’t come across as they are meant. I love all the Etsy shops and know there are mostly great shop owners..My post was still frustration from that terrible woman in that one store.

I had the diamonds left over from a remount project, so I took all of it to a jeweler and had a ring made.

Ah I am thinking of doing something like this. Did they do CADs and then Waxes for you? I have a few small “extra” stones.

Here’s mine.
Larger one is platinum band, approximately 1.5 ctw, 21 diamonds, 2.7 mm wide. Size 5 1/2. I’d estimate F/G VS1 stones. Very bright and sparkly. Two smaller bands are ones I bought maybe 12 years ago. 18k white gold Hildago bands - full eternities. The sparkliest little diamond bands I have ever seen. They are probably size 6’s. I have no idea of carat weight - maybe .4 -.5 each.
I am a horrible photographer. (Hangs head in shame)

These are from my trip to Tiffany’s today! Soleste in rose gold and platinum. I can’t decide if I should by them or try to recreate with another vendor!!

They look so good as they are but I’m having trouble with the Tiffany mark up

I love these on you! The first picture you posted with your solitaire in the middle is utter perfection. Super classy If your solitaire is Tiffany then I would be tempted with branded bands too. But I'm a whore for Tiffany, so take me with a pinch of salt

The pink diamonds are a light pink so not overtly pink but softly pinkish if that makes sense. A darker brighter pinker pink would be TDF gorgeous. I was thinking of visiting Leibish and Co in a couple of months at their Manhattan store as I have never been there and am very curious and interested. If I visit and they let me take photos I would gladly take lots for you though I know photos don't accurately portray the color.
Colored diamonds are gorgeous.

Classic and elegant. My favorite stack here is with the 2 bands behind the solitaire. You cannot beat simple understated blingy elegance IMO and these are TDF gorgeous on you. I hear you re paying the markup though but it is hard to argue with such gorgeousness.
(Though I am sure they are not super difficult to recreate with one of the trusted PS vendors if you don't need the Tiffany name and markup though there is nothing wrong with wanting to have the Tiffany name if you don't mind paying the premium).

@KirstLWA I think they are all lovely options and I love the rose gold with the platinum but keep in mind I am not a matchy match girl...however not sure about rubbing of the rings with different metals. It isn't something I would worry about as I like and have space b/w my rings on the same finger but if your rings fit flush it might be more of a concern. Something to think about and I am not sure how the different metals affect that issue. But from an aesthetic point of view I love the different metals.

Love your solitaire! And I vote for both bands. I love the pop of colour that the rose gold brings, but if you were only after one band then I would choose the platinum. What a fabulous dilemma!!

Well, you know I’m a multi-color girl so I vote for the pop of color. And yes, other vendors could replicate the bands for you without the markup BUT the trade-off is that you then have to get involved in the process, tweak the CADs, and hope everything comes out just as you’d like. With Tiffany’s, it’s pay and you’re done .

I do see that VC makes these bands too so it might be worth a call to him first?

My left and right hand mixed white and yellow gold stacks..I just received my new to me yg skinny etched milgrain band on the bottom of my left hand. Right hand top is my children’s birthstone band and bottom my grandma’s yg band. White gold spacer in the middle.

What you call a spacer, I call a band
