I like the more detailed woven basket in #2. On elongate stones, I really suggest a prong on the tips (short ends) and aim for 6+ prongs total when there is no halo or bezel beyond the girdle. A diamond will be often hit along the girdle and having a prong helps protect the stone. I think the EW Laurel does a great job and I wonder if CVB has a design that has decorative prongs that make those extra prongs more delibrate?

Since this is not a cathedral setting, I'd ask about option to maximize contact between the head and the shank like #5 over #1. That extra metal contact helps avoid the head getting sheared off if you hit it hard enough.
