I wondered if this one would be in here, I was googling for similar pieces (earrings, necklaces etc) to hopefully one day add to mine and I came across Penelope's. Pretty similar to mine, only gold with a cabochon (?) rather than platinum.

I have never seen an image before of Jean Harlow's ring from Paul Bern. In her real life she was a tomboy so I am not too surprised she was given a simple band. This is her wedding photo. She made a point of not wearing makeup on her wedding day and had a very, very, simple ceremony in Bern's home.

I have posted about this on the star sapphire thread, but her boyfriend, William Powell, (Bern killed himself) gave her a massive start sapphire which she wore like a wedding ring. She really wanted to get married to him.
