Oooooh great thread! I've recently purchased a untreated blue oval sapphire so I'm looking for setting inspiration.

I haven't got any decent pics of it yet but will start a separate thread when I do.

Someone posted this one recently (forgive me - I forget exactly who!) and I suppose it's technically 5 stone not 3 BUT it is absolutely spectacular so I couldn't help myself....

OMG that ring is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen! It certainly looks similar to a 3-stone, so I think it's allowed here

Funny how its all in the proportions for me as I find so many three stone rings are boring, but with the right proportions, with smaller side stones (especially traps!) and a design that flows, I just want to swoon! Great bling **** - post more, more, more!

This is a fabulous, elegant, well made heirloom quality piece.

The oval sapphire is by Finewater gems, the diamonds are CBI and it was made by Wink’s HPD luxe bench.
