(I don't know if you plan to put gold under this heading, yet, or not. Or whether you considered putting pearls there. The name depends on how you plan to organize. As everyone knows, I love gold. If The Gold Thread joins other threads under a general heading, it can be mentioned. The same is true of pearls or "beads". Although "beads' can be jewelry other than pearls.)

I still like "All That Glitters".

So many of the suggestions would leave me wondering what in the world goes in that forum! Fabulous FAUX JEWELRY tells me it is a nice name for costume jewelry. I just beg you to make a clear name for it.

And PLEASE do not include faux jewelry in Pre-loved!

None, my vote would be for "Manmade or Lab created stones & Jewels" - Thank you!!!! It's long overdue - There are a bunch of fabulous precision cut synthetic stones these days and lots of Antique synthetic sapphires, rubies, spinels, etc that back in the day cost as much if not more than real stones, so I've never really understood how people can post pics of things like irradiated topaz, yet stones like Antique lab made stones in expensive settings were banned.

It absolutely should not be with Pre-loved!

But if it encompasses real gold pieces, it should not be called "costume" or "faux". Is it going to include The Gold Thread under its auspices?

Let's make sure that it is what it says it will be. That's all I care about.

I agree, but there was discussion in this thread of combining them, ds. Of having the thread be on non-diamonds and non-colored stones not only "fakes", but organic material like coral as well as material like beads that is set in gold and sterling. And perhaps having The Gold Thread moved here at this point. I would just like it to be clear what is going into this thread. I do not have a strong opinion as to what goes into it, but I would really like clarity.
