Need a second opinion on these stones

I'm buying a pair of 0.60-0.65 stones for my fiance to use as a set of stud earrings. I've attached (crappy cell phone) pics below.

To the left is a pair of 0.64/0.65 E SI1. To the right is a pair of 0.60/0.61 I SI1. They are NOT super ideal - and at this size and for earrings I don't really need them to be.

I'll share the specs shortly - but for now, I want your opinions strictly based on the pics. Price is not an issue.

1) Which pair looks better?
2) Is it just me or is there something off about the color of the 0.60 stone?

The 0.60 stone in question is the third to the right in the top pic, and furthest to the right in the bottom pic. I purposely moved it's position in case there was some kind of weird reflection going on in the room, but it still looks off to me. Looks a bit more yellow in person although that doesn't really come thru in my cell phone pics. Am I imagining it?

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Updated with GIA specs below.

To the left is a pair of 0.64/0.65 E SI1.

To the right is a pair of 0.60/0.61 I SI1/VS2.

Leaning toward the smaller set due to better overall proportions (the 0.65 has a steep pavilion) but can't seem to get over that 0.60 yellow-ish stone.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Personally, if the choice were between these two sets only, I'd go with the larger E SI1 pair. I agree that the coloring is off on that .60 stone, plus you get a bit more diameter and bump in color. But the there are plenty of other options out there and I am sure the expert PSers here could help you find better options if you post your budget. GL!

Just between these 2 sets for now. Going local - time constraints ahead of the wedding and since it's for earrings I'm not too fussy. Thanks for the feedback!

One thing I'm starting to debate (thanks to that other thread) is whether it is important to match the fluorescence of the stones for the pairing. With the smaller 0.60/0.61 set, the 0.60 stone has medium flo, while the matching 0.61 has none. I didn't see any haziness when I looked at it last time, but will take a closer look with a loupe today - unfortunately it's not a sunny day here in Toronto.

The SI1/Es are none/faint, so fluorescence will be a closer match.

Would welcome and appreciate any other opinions or feedback from the folks here. I am seeing them again in person this afternoon.Thank you

Definitely the E pair if these are the only possible choices. They face up a lot larger than the others and E will also be brighter than I color.

I would not buy the other pair because apparently the color of one is lower, they are mismatched as far as FL goes, and I don't like the cut numbers.

I inherited a pair of earrings from my grandmother, ~1.5tctw. One has florescence and one doesn't (ungraded). If I had purchased them myself, yes I would have matched fluorescence, but since I didn't have a choice it really doesn't bug me.

One of the ways I came to the conclusion that I prefer stones with florescence was because of this pair of earrings. However, that was when the stones were unset and I was playing with them right next to each other in my sunny back yard. On my ears you really can't tell a difference. If the stones were bigger, maybe it would be an issue, but at .75ct each I've literally never noticed the difference while on my ears.

Thank you both for your feedback.

That one smaller stone is most definitely more yellow in person so the color mismatch is a deal breaker.

It will be the E/SI1s or nothing. The 0.64 is perfect - even the proportions are perfect, however the 0.65 isn't great due to the 41.4 pavilion. It's eye clean, but has a black crystal on the table when you look at it through a scope which bugs me from a mind clean perspective. I need to keep it in perspective that these are earrings which nobody will be viewing up close. Gonna sleep on it.

I will try to go online to see if I can get a decent matching pair in a hurry. I never realized how hard it is to find matching pairs - gotta match the spreads, colors, tables, fluorescence etc. Very challenging and frustrating - and we're not even talking proportions yet!
