Big, glowy and included tsavorite... To buy or not?

I really like the hue.
Question: if included spessartines can be recut in brilliant/concave way, can the same be done with a tsavorite?

@Arkteia can you pls share more on why you like the hue?

@Lilith112 maybe the light source but, to me looks to be the color of Burmese peridot than tsavorite to me. There are some tell tale signs that gives it away that its not a peridot of course, but colorwise they're yellow leaning.

I think the jade is darker irl. My pics are through the glass and quite a bit more intense somehow.

It’s more of a yellow-green than blue green (hence my comparison to Zambian emerald)

@icy_jade The color is better in your pics for sure. My personal take is that I can forgive a lot when it comes to the right color, type of stone, but its a balancing act. For instance, I've got a window in a 7ct violet cuprian but I forgive it because I will NEVER find one at that size for the price I paid and I know it. Its not everyone's cuppa tea either but I also knew I would not have that type of opportunity again. (I was right!) I have a slightly over 2ct red mahenge spinel, which is not terribly normal! Silky yes but kept the price down by...a lot! I love that type of thing, and its not everyone's cuppa tea at all. still it makes my heart sing when I look at it and wear it (and the UV is pretty insane!)

Back to your stone; as much as I like the color and find it extremely pleasing, the inclusions are too much for me in that material. But thats a personal preference. But I do love the color of it. its really really nice!

If you love this stone inclusions and all and you love how the stone performs and the color is what makes you happy, its worthy, period. I enjoy your jewelry choices so if you choose it, can't wait to see what you put it in

Yeah there must be a good reason why I didn’t buy it on the spot so I went back, thought it over and I guess it’s just that I don’t love it enough. Unlike say my new tsav or yellow sapphire that I’d never planned to buy.

Included. Eye visible. But not enough inclusion to make it glow. The first one is rather interesting in that sense. So many inclusions that they help scatter light.

I really like this one and honestly it looks like an emerald. But I don’t want a fake emerald ykwim?

Oh ya I asked about recut for the 5ct and my jeweller said can but will lose too much weight and not advisable

I think the camera is more unkind to the inclusions and that this 5 carat one that you have bought from Wriston is lovely.

I love inclusions though and I don't mind them - I am quite forgiving there.
