If ever there was a piece of art that should hang on every PSer’s wall!

If I find that at home goods I'm getting it!:appl:

I always say I’m not going to get another dog...but then I start looking for another one to adopt. I really thing Bailey will be my last. I hope he lives a really long time. I can’t bear to think about it.

I hope Bailey lives a very long and happy healthy life with you too. (((Hugs))). And no need to decide now what you will do. I say live in the moment and enjoy Bailey as much as possible. Love him and hug him and tell him every day how much he means to you. We did that with Francesca and though her death was a shock we have no regrets with how much love we showered upon her. And I always say never again but then the pull and desire of saving another life becomes so strong we cannot resist. Though at this moment in time I do feel like never again.

Hugs to you @Mamabean

I just gained a lot of satisfaction by responding to three very rude emails with grace, warmth, and kindness.

Yup, Kill them with kindness. Works every time. And no matter what we get the satisfaction of behaving like a kind and civilized individual and not the crappy behavior others might exhibit. Good for you @Jambalaya.

I'm so sorry @missy . I have no doubt you gave Francesca a wonderful life full of love and warm sunlit places to sleep.

Thank you @tyty333 we did show her how much we adored and cherished and loved her every single day. Both Greg and I miss her so much. Incredible how our furry babies just get into our hearts and dig in deep. So much in love with her we are and always will be.

We bought this painting over a year ago and just rediscovered it among our things after Francesca's death. It looks so much like Francesca and Oliver. Like it was meant to be. Though given all we are going through at the moment it's hard to believe this was meant to be but I take it as a (positive) sign. That somehow it will all work out. Fingers and toes and everything crossed.

I guess both the problem and solution is ice. Snow (and plenty of it?) in our forecast. Excellent.:eek2:o_O

The new iPhone with 3 camera lenses really creeps me out. It's like looking into the (many) eyes of a spider. (shudder).

HI:

Yup. So this is why I don't wear jewellery. My gorgeous diamond bangle has been at the bank for 3 years...take it out to wear. Put it on then my jacket...and my arm (inadvertently) hits the wall. You bet. Really?:boohoo:

cheers--Sharon

"I’m either with others or recovering from being with others"

I found this on a website today and can so relate to this feeling!

Do you ever have days/moments where you struggle to make sense of it all? I am perhaps too introspective for my own good but yes I have been struggling with how cruel life can be. And yes it is beautiful too but the cruelness can take your breath away if you kwim.

Life is both cruel and beautiful.

Thank you @missy...I tell him every day how much I love him...and how adorably cute he is. He will just stare into my eyes trying to figure out what I’m saying. I’ve done that since he was three months old...when I adopted him..:P2

I am not much of a beauty product person but with winter coming up figured I should get a moisturizer for my dry skin.

Damn this stuff is amazing, found it at Marshall's and it is dreamy and blue...that was a surprise!

Why? Why is it that when I finally not only sweep, vacuum AND wash my floors, the day after is always the day someone wears sneakers around the house AND they have dirt embedded in them? Why?!

^ totally get where you are coming from, rainydaze! Never fails, right after I do the extra-thorough clean of the bathroom, my DH decides to use his Wahl haircutting kit to trim or shave his head ... little tiny hairs everywhere ... aargh.

Haha I hear you. Though I will add when one is cleaning and vacuuming and mopping on a daily basis it happens less. But normal and sane people don't clean the house daily.
Those with RW do though...:/

So do you ever go like omg :wall::doh:and how did I not realize that?

I started taking daily baths (to detox and de-stress) about one to one and a half years ago at the beach house and it always took 30 minutes to fill the tub. What a pain and I always had to plan in advance because 30 minutes is a long time to wait. Anyway fast forward to yesterday. We got home from cycling and I went to draw a bath. And I said to Greg why the heck does it take so long? We have such great water pressure in this house everywhere else. He said I bet there's a flow restrictor and voila. He took apart the faucet in the bath in under a minute and took it out and what do you know? I was able to fill my tub in less than 5 minutes. Oy and LOL. Glad it didn't take me a decade to realize it. I knew something wasn't right.:twirl:

Mopping daily... I can't even! Heck, vacuuming daily, I can't even! I know you're hanging in there by a thread @missy , it's beyond exhausting just having to worry and care for sick (fur)babies but to have such a regimen of cleaning and medicating on top of it.... :(

And yes indeed! I'm a believer in being exposed to stuff (within reason, balance).... that's why my floors get mopped infrequently.... not anything to do with hating doing it! :D:lol:

Have you tasted one? What does it taste like? I am curious. I love dark chocolate. And I also love pumpkin. Never had both together though.

@rainydaze thanks for your empathy/sympathy. It's been challenging but my dh is amazing and we are a good team. I cannot wait though for the daily cleaning and disinfecting and loads of laundry on 2 hour super hot cycles to be done. I don't know when that will be but I am very much looking forward to that day. The day the kitties are all well. Fingers and toes and everything crossed that day will come and come soon.

Long-term victims, ugh! I know we all feel like victims sometimes when bad stuff happens, but my friend split up with her husband three years ago and did really well out of the divorce - her ex bought her a stunning family house with a pool for her and the kids - and she got custody, everything. Yet three years later, she still posts all these self-pitying sayings about being broken and rising up etc. etc. which garners a lot of sympathy from some. Even though she's dated a hot bodybuilder a decade younger than her since her divorce! And I know for a fact that friends of ours were going through things like deaths and cancer when she was divorcing, and she wasn't there for them. Getting very, very tired of the whole victim mindset. She was so selfish towards those friends, and yet seems to spend most of her time on Facebook yowling for sympathy. I wasted hours and hours and hours in 2017 and 2018 giving it to her. When I think of all the productive things I could have been doing!
