So it’s in a simple stock setting. And I’m trying to adjust and in the mean time trying out different bands.
Here is one band that I was not expecting to like. Please be honest.
I think I’m attracted to the look Bc of the novelty. Lol. But i don’t want to buy it and have it just sitting around if I feel it takes away from my solitaire.

It’s pretty, but I think it would look better on its own as opposed to with your engagement ring. I think a similar style but a bit thinner would look much better and actually make your solitaire pop and stand out more. As it is, it looks like it competes with it.

It’s a super pretty band, and your engagement ring is lovely of course, but the thickness of the band doesn’t seem balanced with the look.
Of course I could be wrong- without looking at your post history, and based off your ring size, I’m guessing your engagement ring is in the ballpark of 2 carats..?
You always amaze me with your finds- I really do enjoy your posts and seeing what the latest bauble is =)2

I love this rich and luscious look. This combo looks great on your hand.
Normally I would prefer a smaller band, but you rock this look.

Thank you! My stone is a 2.52. So I’m guessing this band is working against it. lol. I have a lot of bands as it is but I don’t have any this style, so maybe it’s the novelty that is drawing me in.

To my eyes your stone looks at krast 3 carats. Perhaps because of your tiny size. Could you also post a pic of your existing band?

Love these! Beautiful and Classic look. Stunning engagement sets.

The combination with the bigger band: Richer and bolder look. Weird enough, your solitaire looks bigger to my eyes.

Can you think about it for one Month and decide then?

I'm going to have to agree with the other posters on here who feel that you should get a band that's a bit slimmer to showcase that stunner of a solitaire you've got on.
I'll share some pics of my own wedding band journey.
The first two pics are with my old ering.
The second two pics are with my new ering.
I downloaded two different pics so you can see what folks are talking about. I do LOVE the band you chose, but I think it'll be best alone.

My erings aren't the same exact style as yours, but maybe the photos will help you with your decision :D

I love your stone in a soli, but the thick band isn't my favorite because I feel like it takes away from your gorgeous ring. I prefer it with the plain band you posted and with the 3 row diamond band. Those are my favorites.

I like the same one as Bonfire did the best. And I usually don't have much appreciation for that style either. But in this case it looks amazing!

I voted no.
But that’s not saying I don’t like the look on you, especially since you have the option of swapping it up all the time with the other thinner bands.
Different looks for different moods - love it!

Nala, please put me in the camp that says they all look great on you. I think that you have gotten right to the point of you like what you like and you like to change your mind, frequently, according to your mood at that moment.

The nice thing is you can buy it or not buy it, and if the one you are looking at sells, the jeweler can always get you another one. I see this as a classic case of, "You cannot lose!"

Congratulations for having such a wonderful question to share with us.

What Wink said! @nala - you like change and different “wardrobes” for your diamond. I say go for the wide band if you don’t already have one! I’m sure you have plenty of thinner bands.

I was just thinking about you the other day—wondering why we hadn’t seen a new post from you. :) Must be enjoying your summer break! When do you guys head back? We go back on August 16th! :cry2:

Agree with @Bonfire choice that one caught my eye too!
But tbh @nala your other photos with different bands all looked good, the one you originally posted about I’m not so mad on though. I actually have a wide (4mm) scattered diamond band so Its not that I don’t like that style but imo they look better as a stand alone.

Love this. Not mad at it. Lol.

@Bonfire and @MeowMeow and you like the 80’s ring guard and I have to say, I’m glad I picked it up. My 20 year old daughter loves it, too so I guess they’re making a comeback!

I don't think it makes it look bigger OR smaller.

Fwiw, I have size 5 fingers and a 2ct stone and yours looks way bigger than mine in the OP photos. So I definitely don't think it's shrinking it "down" to 2ct.

I personally love the look in the original post. If I went for white gold, I would definitely have a band like that. But maybe I'm biased as my own band is 4mm.

I don't know about it looking bigger, but I prefer the look with the skinny plainer band. Your diamond is gorgeous.

Your ring is beautiful! Luckily it is big enough you could wear it with any ring and it will not look “small.”

I think it would look biggest with a thin band that is either the same width as the ering or a small bit thinner diamond eternity than the ering width.
