August Vintage Ideal Cut H&A or Amora Gem Eternity H&A?

Which should I get? Which is more diamond-like?

I honestly wonder if my AGS 000 was a dud. Of all the photos Ive seen online on forums, mine looks nothing like what the other ladies have received. It was almost cloudy. I will try to upload a video later.

Did you try cleaning it? One of the Amora Gems I purchased years ago (an ultra) had a similar look so I rubbed it with a sunshine cloth. And presto! it looked like a different stone afterwards.

Ok, let's do this, lol. I had to track down my old posts and threads to get all these pics to remember, because I have a lot.

Here's are pics of my first Amora Eternity. It was about 7.3mm F color. I LOVED IT. I returned it because at the time I wanted a bigger size. Major regret on my part because the 2nd one, in my opinion, wasn't as pretty. Still pretty, but not AS pretty. More pics and videos:

Here's my 2nd Amora. 7.6mm. Certificate said E color, but looked more like a G-H color.

They both were pretty, but I felt the 1st one was much much prettier. 2nd one was pretty as well, but in real life it just wasn't as. I ended up selling the 2nd one because I wasn't truly in love with the stone and I wanted to go down to 7mm.

Here's my first AV. it was slightly over 7.5mm, Jonathan didn't have that size in stock so this was a custom cut. I asked for G-H color, but it looked more like an E-F color. I ended up selling it because this was around the time I wanted to go down to 7mm.

I'm pretty sure this is the PSer who purchased my AV's stone. It looks even better set:

Here are the comparison pics of my 2nd Amora Gem to my 1st AV's. They look very very very similar.

The vimeo videos show up really small so you can't see the details. So right click in the frame and click on "View Page Source". A new window will open up and click on the first blue link you see and it will take you straight to the VIMEO's location of the video so you can see it in a bigger screen and better resolution.

The last 2 gems are what I currently have, the AGS 000 and the AV's Idea (both 7mm, about F/G color). I love both so I'm keeping both. If you want consistency, I would say go with AV's Ideal, based on my personal experiences. Jonathan also has videos and pics of the gems so you can kind of see what you're getting before you buy it. I prefer that way than to do custom cutting.

You did that quick! Did you buy the one that he had listed or you did custom? I hope you use the discount code to get 20% off. I hope you purchased one of the ones listed because then you can return if you're not happy. But Jonathan cut is pretty good.

I just saw this- I did the "in stock" which he has in 8.5mm. And yes thanks I used the 20% off code that I saw. Its not quite 9mm but it ll give me a good idea for the cut! Cant wait till it arrives

It is definitely a beautiful stone and very white. Less moodiness than typical moissanite for sure. But I ordered an 8.5 mm and I think its a definitely too small visually because of the higher crown and smaller table. Will need a 9.35 which I will have to custom order.

I love the arrows and the depth the stone has. And definitely more crisp than the AGS 000 stone. Let me try to upload a video
