Really nice! How's its brightness in indirect daylight /shade?

I read that you might revise the prongs, I'll you tell us what the issue is and what you originally had in mind?

In shade it is very white. I bought DEF I don't see any color to it.

Ugh, I hit post too soon. I originally wanted thinner more claw like prongs. My local jeweler doesn't think it's the best idea to thin them out. I might get a second opinion.

Got videos of my completed rings today. The platinum one is identical to a yellow gold one I have from Provence so I know I’ll like it. The faux sapphires look dark but I kind of expected that. I won’t be wearing it with another sapphire so it doesn’t need to match anything. Here are screenshots from the video:

If, upon arrival, they look close to the video, I’ll be super pleased. These pictures aren’t very good but I know how we all love pictures.

I wish they had faux emerald but they don’t so I’ll have to look elsewhere for the last band I’m looking for (at the moment, not forever ).

These arrived today and I’m obsessed. I want all of the bands in all of the colors! I love low profile rings and you can’t get much more low profile than that. And for glam, just add a solitaire, too. I need a faux emerald and moissanite band stat! And each “gemstone” in both yellow gold and platinum. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to stop.

Hi ladies!

For those of you who have h&a from provence, how is the quality of the stone? I am considering having them do my ring, but a few people on Wedding Bee said that their center stones aren't the best quality. Anyone have any opinions? They gave me the best quote so I really hope they have good quality stones..

I do find that videos and photos can’t really capture what stones look like in real life. I have yet to see a diamond sparkle the way it does on some of these Instagram pages lol

are you pleased with the quality of your stone? I'm getting a 7.5mm GH h&a from them, but I have heard mixed reviews about their center stones :/

It hasn’t chipped or anything. I was expecting a lot more fire because people kept talking about how it’s a dead giveaway. I don’t notice the obnoxious fire. I actually love when it throws rainbows and sparkles like crazy. It only does that In certain lighting.

Talking to Flora right now about an OEC earring, 8mm, 10k in yellow gold. This is the stone sue showed me and it is waaaayyyy better than the first stock photo she showed me. The petals are much prettier vs the bluntly cut (like a pizza pie rather than flower petals) stock photo she showed before. Trying to upload the video...

I have hesitated buying from them because they don't use Paypal and I don't like their cuts as much as Tianyu or Starsgem. But if their OEC looks like this, it might be something I'll consider.

Also, did you have to return your old OEC? I was reading on the Zhengyong thread that a sales rep refused to pay for return shipping, so there is that, too.

This makes me feel MUCH better! I asked for a quote today and for a stone with a tiny culet because the few I'd seen had culets larger than I would want. This is perfect!

I did not have to ship the old stone back. Provence gem took care of everything, I didn't pay anything. Flora was wonderful and made sure I was happy with their product I don't know if they will be updating their cuts but I did tell Flora that this cut is much better, hopefully they will!

The stone is really pretty. Definitely warmer than GH though. The table is a little larger than I like, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

Finally got a photo and video of my OEC solitaire earrings and pendant from Provence. These are 7mm, IJ color, rose gold. I dont like the petals so much....they look more like pizza pie slices. Am I being too nitpicky?

Not nit picky at all. I feel the same way about mine, which is why I haven’t set it. I might sell it, actually.

If i had your stone i’d actually be very happy...your petals look more dainty. Mine looks sharp and blunt. I dont know what to do.
