Comparison 4x2.0 carat Cushion

Hi Guys,

I've narrowed my search down to 4...All within 1000 dollars of each other. The requirement for her is it needs to be square, 2.0 carat, eye-clean, H+ above color. Would love any suggestions if anyone knows. I've got the ASETs save for 1 that I am waiting on. I want to finalize this by next week.

I was told this would be eye-clean, I'm worried about the medium fluoro though.

Looks good on specs, but not sure if paying the extra $1000 is worth it.

Which diamond would you choose? Thanks for all the help.

I like the second one so far if it is eye-clean.

There should be no reason to worry about medium fluorescence (only strong).

the 2nd, is that just based on the light performance or other specs?

All three of those have black inclusions right under the center of the table. I think there might be times that those could be seen. I would only consider SI1 inclusions if they are over to the side or not black. That first H VS2 doesn't look much better than the SI1s, though.

The last stone has the best clarity and it would be worth the extra cost to me personally. BUT, I am not sure about it having a great ASET image just from the still shot of it. I will be glad if it is good! I guess I'd choose it over the other three, though, unless the ASET is definitely worse.

Yea it is a bit worrisome that the VS2 inclusion looks pretty black.

Having a hard time finding a diamond in my specs...and when I do, it's harder getting the ASETs for them. I'll see if I can get it for the last one, JA needs to contact the supplier to see if there is one as they don't have one on file.

Maybe ok? Not alot of red, but not much leakage either...unsure about this. Specs are quite good as well.

I was really hopeful for this one, this one is ever so slightly elongated. But I don't know about all that leakage.

The inclusions in #1 would bug my clarity-freak nature I'm not sure if it might be a bit dark head-on in the video? but it might well just be obstruction from the camera lens/body, as the ASET is showing red in the centre. Some leakage at the edges of the table.

I find #2 has quite an interesting facet pattern to my eyes - both face on and through the crown facets. The SI1 clarity is noticeable in the video but the main inclusion does not look dark, so it may not be too noticeable in real life. Like #1, has some leakage around the edge of the table, but it is still showing as a light colour green in the ASET so it might not be too bad.

#3 doesn't exist, it seems?? Might have been sold / withdrawn?

The VS1 of #4 pleases my clarity issues lol. It doesn't seem very symmetrical (but then none of them are super-symmetrical) but it's still interesting to look at. Looks quite dark from obstruction head-on but the ASET shows a lot of red, so I think it's just obstruction from the camera. I'm not quite sure why there's no blue in the ASET image - perhaps it's been removed from the ASETscope for some reason?? As per the others, some leakage round the edge of the table but it (and all of them) has a pretty strong centre.


Which one do you prefer? Personally speaking and going from the videos/ASETS, I feel they are all pretty similar in terms of performance, but I am no expert so I don't feel there is a strong winner of the three, unless you're led by clarity issues.
