Which vendor are you having trouble with? You should work with them and your bank directly

I am trying to use the Holloway Cut Adviser, which I paid for via Paypal in January. I purchased 15 uses for $6.99? I believe. It will not allow me to paste the code assigned me so that I can use the HCA to evaluate a stone. Thanks.

Are you a private user (i.e. not a company or in the trade)?

I thought non-trade users had 999 uses?

@Garry H (Cut Nut) should be able to assist!

I'm a private user and only had 3 free uses before I was asked to pay.

I don't think so. I thought 999! Or maybe 3 per day?

Really?! I wasn't able to get anymore reports. I will try again tonight and see. Possibly 3 per day since I was definitely researching more than 3 on a daily basis.

I’ve run probably a dozen or more in a day without any issues. Maybe, in the mean time, try opening the tool in a different browser to run your numbers.

I’m a private user and haven’t been able to use the HCA Tool for months. Could explain the reduction in traffic. People want to be able to use the tool themselves, then post with questions or for opinions and not have to post here so someone else can get the HCA score for them.

What browser are you using? Have you tried it on another device, by chance?

Chrome, explorer and Safari on my iPad. I’ve tried it while logged into my account and logged out. Haven’t been able to get it to work for months.

That is strange; I’ve never seen that before.

I just tried it on my iPad, and it’s working fine for me.

Hopefully admin pops in to help diagnose/determine the issue.

@Kaycee2018 same thing always happens to me, even when I haven’t tried to check anything for months.

This may seem like an odd ‘criterion’ for using the HCA, but I wonder ... does it have anything to do with how long someone has been a member on PS? I just noticed that all of those posting about having issues with the HCA appear newer/have lower post counts.

I hope that’s not the case. Not exactly a warm welcome....

I doubt it’d be for that reason, but possibly to prevent some kind of potential abuse/misuse ... that’s what I was thinking.
