I have a small diamond that I bought a few years ago, estate. I have been curious about the cut as it is different from an MRB. It has more arrows than a traditional MRB....I thought it might be a Leo. I read that all Leo’s are laser inscribed so I checked out the girdle and it is inscribed but not with a SN traceable to Leo. Does anyone have an idea what lab the SN: LC18525 might belong to? I have attached a photo of the diamond!

@Luce I hope someone can answer your question, as I’m curious too. In searching for diamonds (for myself and others), I’ve seen some ‘non-traditional’ laser inscription references on GIA & AGS reports that were unclear as to what they were/meant. And I haven’t been able to find any sort of reference tool/database that tracks these. Perhaps we could start one on here to help folks who might be curious about such when they come across it. :wavey:

I see a trademark registered for a jeweler company called Lauren Conrad that uses the initials LC. Looks like today the sell mostly 10k commercial jewelry. But you might want to track them down and give them a call. Could be they sell or have sold in the past jewelry with inscribed diamonds.

By the way, that's a cool looking pendant. The square diagonal setting with a round diamond is different and attractive.

Great find @Texas Leaguer though I’d be surprised if her jewelry line was that “high end” to have patented designs for and/or inscribed diamonds. (That probably sounds snooty and I don’t mean it that way; but she kinda strikes me as another one of these actress-types-turned-fashionista-for-profit/social-media).

Are there other diamond cuts that might have had the initials ‘LC’? I was thinking maybe there was a Lucerne Cut some time back.

@Luce Any chance of there being any clearer, less flash pics of the diamond straight on to see the faceting more clearly? Or might you have any vendor pics saved from the purchase that might help ID?

Hi Texas Leager,
I saw the Lauren Conrad during my search but the setting is 18k so I didn’t pursue it. I should check it out though in case they had a higher end line. Thank you for the compliment on the setting, I love the way this piece is set!!!
