Amethyst pendant and necklace to go with my new RHR

I wasn't intending to buy any bling before my wedding ring this year but we went back to the antique shop to collect my e-ring from repair and saw a lovely necklace in the window. We actually saw it when we dropped the ring off but my fiancé asked about it while I was parking the car and he phoned me to ask if I wanted it.
They were just closing for lunch so she's put it aside and I'm going back for it next week.

It's bigger than my new ring but the colour is a really good match. The necklace is 18ct gold whereas my ring is only 9ct but it was quite an inexpensive ring and I will probably be looking to upgrade it for a bigger amethyst and more diamonds.

Forgot to add, asked if it was recent (we didn't think it looked very old) and the vendor said she would put it at 1960s.

This is my RHR, I was going to buy it for my 40th birthday in August but got it in the black friday sale instead & my fiancé decided to buy it. It was just from a high street shop and I was originally looking for a 3 stone ring with emerald cut amethyst but this came along and it was a fraction of the cost of the ones I was looking at.

Thanks! I've got a darker purple lipstick but it was in my handbag and I was in my bedroom and couldn't be bothered to get it.
