Could Meghan wear the Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara (now usually worn by Kate and worn by Diana) to a function if Kate selects a different tiara or does not go to the function? In other words, who gets first pick for selecting what royal jewels to wear to functions? I would call 'dibs' on certain pieces and wear them all the time so that the other sister in law would not want to wear them. I guess that is why I am not a princess.

Wow talk about blingtastic. Camilla's crown looks bigger than the Queen's. I still love Kate's crown the best. I love how Kate decided not to wear a necklace-the crown and earrings are enough for someone her age. Why are they wearing white gowns? I really must be getting old and fuddy-duddy but I do like Camilla's coat dress. The Queens' dress is pretty but she needs a higher support bra. Can't see Kate's dress.

There is a video on YouTube that appears from time to time called "de kongelige juveler." It is about Scandinavian royal jewels. Most of it is in Danish but there are parts in English. It comes and goes on YouTube (not sure why) and is currently available. It is a great watch even for the parts in Danish that I don't understand!

There was a Queen Margrethe's Dresses Exhibition at Frederiksborg Castle back in 2015. Also another one called Fit for a Queen: Nobel Gowns of H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden Exhibition at American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2008.

I was not crazy about CP Mary's choice of this ensemble for the biggest of the New Year's Courts. While I love the Edwardian tiara, it does not have the gravitas for the biggest event of the year. She needs her Big Gun Ruby Parure for this event. This dress and tiara combo would have been great for the Day 2 or 3 court, but I can't get on board for the event that really needs your biggest tiara and poofiest dress.

CP Mary sporting a lot of big pieces-esp around her neck. Her earrings are pretty big too. Maybe she wanted to go lighter on the head as the weight of the other pieces seem substantial. But, If I had Big Gun Ruby Parure, I would choose that over the pieces she selected. BTW, I am not a fan of the dress.
