Might be my last photo of Bubbalah as she is right now...

From yesterday when my parents came over to visit.
bubbalahandstack.jpg.png

and while I am at it my grandma's engagement ring...less than a carat. Not the one I meant for my mom to bring lol but it's OK because I enjoyed seeing this ring too. This one was not the one I used to wear. I used to wear my great grandma's bezel OEC ring with IIRC an intricate basket design. Next time my mom is going to search and find it for me so I can take lots of photos. In the meantime here is my grandma's engagement ring from 1940. Not sure if it is a transitional diamond or late OEC? Have to add my parents are good sports letting me take photos while they sat around and waited lol. But we were talking diamonds and they both do love jewelry. Maybe not as much as me but they do appreciate bling. My mom offered me one of the bands from my grandma but they are so tiny and are eternity bands so I passed. My nieces could wear them when they get just a bit older so I didn't want to take that away from them because it would just sit unworn in my box being so small for me. I was tempted but I already have so many things I do not wear. OK onto the photos.

To answer your questions- yes, you can. I would sell them both for $950 shipped (PayPal friends and family) depending on where they are going. $650 for the diamond band and $275 for the plain band. If it’s overseas I would charge more for shipping. The bezet diamond retailed for $1700 and the bezet band retailed for $700 I believe.
The bezet band is 1.7 mm from what I remember on the website. The bezet diamond is supposed to be 1.7 mm but I feel it’s a tiny bit thinner than the band. Maybe more like 1.6 mm.
I normally wear a size 5.25 but when I stack and for eternities I prefer my rings a little looser. These bands are fairly thin though, so I can wear them stacked and they still fit great in me.
I can send you more pics but here is are pics for now. Just contact me on loupe troop.

Thank you for the extra information & pictures, lovely! I shall speak to my husband when he gets back at the weekend. It isn’t my wedding anniversary again until next Sept, but got to love a bit of forward planning!

Tomorrow is our anniversary and I’m excited about our nice quiet dinner tomorrow in the midst of total chaos in our lives (left wing house remodel)! Tonight we are going to a trunk show and dinner hosted by one of our favorite Aspen jewelery shops...who knows...maybe we will pick up a new bauble!

I am very sure that the ladies are familiar with much larger diamonds but I keep looking at this oval halo ring that my husband gave me recently. I created a thread to create this ring and I am so glad that I followed everyone's suggestions in the thread :)

0.58 carat oval diamond in James Allen halo setting - worn with Tiffany Harmony wedding band.

I remember your ring! I love it! I’m having trouble finding your thread about it... Care to link me?

I am actually thinking about selling it. I found a french cut diamond band that I love and a setting I love as well so I am thinking of listing a few things I don’t wear.
@kayla17 if you decide to part with it in the future some time, I'd love a chance to adopt it. <3

Got a chance to hold my stone out of the setting. It’s not clean though. It was at the last minute when I even remembered to take a snap! Still neat to see. 96779E45-20E4-4B90-92DA-98D6376A336F.jpeg EE332BE3-9878-4652-A1CB-9EDB786FB9B3.jpeg

This is new to me. I don’t have much info on this rose cut diamond brooch; the auction description was a bit lacking but the style looks Victorian.

I know it sounds nuts, but I don’t have much! I would need to do a scratch test to determine metal content. The diamonds are pretty bright and some have knicks, but otherwise clarity is good.

My daily essential...Tiffany and VCA necklaces, VCA earrings, VCA bracelet, sapphire diamond ring, asscher diamond ring, and yellow diamond ring
@clcat120 you need to post modeling shots of your VCA in the VCA thread! I am dying over your turquoise earrings. Those are vintage size right?

Thank you. It is an unheated GIA certified Madagascar sapphire of about 3.8ct flanked with all E color round brilliance. It is definitely one of my favorite piece because the color is so vibrant. It is more vivid than Kashmir or Celyon. =)

Does anyone want to convert a gorgeous brooch to a bracelet? This would be stunning.

Ive been thinking about this pin. I think it look lovely as a hair clip. The diamonds were so white and bright. Really high colored melee. It’s not in the cards for me now but I bet they would be willing to negotiate. It’s way over priced.
