After days of stalking my eBay eager for updates, the last advice was “with Office of Exchange” aka Customs.
Reading others tales of woe “my item has been with Customs for 4 weeks / 6 weeks” I’m praying for a quick clearance. It’s been over the weekend, so I get up early this morning (Monday) and even before a coffee I check for any updates.
Bummer, none.
7.51 am, Ding Dong Ding Dong.
It’s a parcel, it’s THE PARCEL. It has bypassed Customs !!!***
Wow, it’s beautiful, really really beautiful.
I can’t take any incandescent light photos, it’s bright and sunny here, but in the bathroom with less natural light I could capture some of the colour change.
The daylight colour is fabulous, strong green. Every gem is slightly different but that’s exactly how it should be. They are only small, about .25 carat each but there’s 40 of them. The diamonds are small but lovely.

I spent almost the whole day just wandering inside, outside, hallway, bathroom (only incandescent lighting) just admiring this treasure.

My mum was like “ooh it’s really lovely but aren’t they a bit small? I thought they were like 2 or 3 carats each one”!

So I showed her the Multicolour site and she was “are you kidding me, that much for such tiny things! “
