Thanks so much. No, not at all. I got the diamond in Israel and I designed the setting. My local jeweler and I found the side stones together. I wanted to use all princess, and rounds with a cushion center. I didn't want a halo or two huge side stones taking away from the presence of my big beautiful diamond . So I decided on the two smaller side set princess cuts on each side. I think I ended up with something very special! I was just on vacation in Beverly Hills and picked up a new bracelet and the jewelers there LOVED my ring, and that was the biggest compliment I could have received.

No one has ever remarked on the color, just on the ring itself, which suggests that the diamond looks "white" to most people.

Here is my L VS2 2.63 pear. I had it reset I to a 18 Kt yellow gold bezel this year (from a platinum 6 prong). The girdle on this old stone is very thin and I was starting to get worried. The shank is platinum. The band is pigeon blood rubies in 18 Kt.
