What does anyone think about this ring? 1.52 Princess cente...EGL...SI1....H....82.4 Depth...70 table. set in platinum w/ similar quality trillions at .37 carats each for $6500? |

Be careful with anything other than a GIA report. It is well known within the trade that IGI, EGL etc are "easy" certs. You should discount EGL's grading by one color and one clarity. Meaning that if you are looking at H-SI1 from EGL assume that it is really no better than a I-SI2, at best. Further, the 82 depth on this stone is very bad. Stay away. Make sure the depth stays in the high 60's to low 70's. 70 table is fine in a princess, but no more. Have you looked at a radiant? ------------------ |
