I am still learning about diamonds..I jsut read that perhaps the EGL lab is not that reliable.

Can someone give me some info on this diamond?

I'm hoping based on those measurements that this is either an emerald or a radiant cut stone???

A little on the pricey side.

It is a not a geat make (cut) for a marquise. It is too deep and has too heavy a girdle. You can get more looks for your money with a better cut..

Thanks David..We had been told that so many marquises are too thin..that I should look for one that is stout. This one is stout..LOL..but it is very twinkly...I just wondered..Well, I wish I had found this site before..Here I have been thinking I was soooo smart.... But I do think I did better than just going to a mall jeweler. I can see with my eye that so many diamonds in these places look like Avon fake jewelery.
