I'm Looking at the following GIA diamond:

Shape - Round Brilliant
Measurements - 6.58-6.63-4.00mm
Weight - 1.03 carat

Proportions
Depth - 60.6%
Table - 57%
Girdle - Thin to Medium
Culet - None

Finish
Polish - Excellent
Symmetry - Excellent
Clarity - VS1
Color - E
Flourescence - Faint

Dealer quoted me about $8,250 (approx. rappaport list price).

Is this a fair price and also the fact that the flourescence is "faint" does this bring the value down versus "none". Thanks.....

Looks good so far.
dont worry about fluro.
Ask for the sarin crown and pavilion angles. If the dealer does not have access to the stone tell him he can get the #'s from GIA (he will not know this and will say they wont give it to him, but they will give the info to the original owner who submitted the stone).
Then you or we can do an HCA analysis on the cut.

Price:

I just made a search here. There are similar diamonds listed in the internet for about $300-$400 less.
