Leonid, I still don't know exactly what's the difference between Flawless (FL) and Internally Flawless (IF) is this due to the cut? or polish? oh, how come you don't have a search criteria for FL in the search page? Thanks |

According to GIA FL - shows no inclusions or blemishes of any sort under 10x magnification when observed by experienced grader IF - has no inclusions when examined by an experienced grader using 10x magnification, but will have some minor blemishes. Practically, there are very few FL diamonds. Search on Polygon.net (for trade only) yields about 25 FL diamonds from thousands for all shapes, weights and colors - mainly graded by HRD Rapnet (another trading network) doesn't have FL as a search criterion at all. VirtCert shows none FL diamonds from over 20,000 |
