I have noticed that there isn't a good selection for the "super ideals" in the .80-.99 range. How often do new stones become available? Is it a random thing or monthly, quarterly, etc. Thanks.

Looking 'good'
90% of diamonds are poorly cut.
99% of rough that weighs enough to be .90ct hearts and arrows and other fine makes can be cut to 1ct weights poor makes and be worth more money to the cutter. What would you do if you had a mortgage and big diamond loan?
Most .80 ct rough will yeild 1ct princess cut, again what would you do? - be a poor purist or a wealthy business person?
Only those cutters like ACA and SCert who have created a value added brand can afford to cut for the result - and that is because people like you are prepared to pay for their 'brand' - if every one did then there would be less rubbish around.
get the pic!
