Need an opinion, all things being similiar sym, polish, depth, table culet internal angles etc. More or less. Would it be advisable to give up some clarity for size and color? Is there that much of a difference between an VS2 and a SI1 once the diamond is mounted. Thanks |

Seekingice, If there are no visible with the naked eye inclusions, obviously you won't see the difference between VS2 and SI1. So if you could get better size and color it might be a good idea. How about cut? Have you seen the diamonds and which one looks better? |

SeekingIce, Just make sure that the SI1 is truly eye-clean if that is important to you. Some are better than others and in larger size diamonds, some inclusions may be visible. You want to make sure none of the inclusions are dark too. Have an SI1 diamond checked to make sure there are no durability issues with the inclusions. |
