How much of a premium would I pay for H&A vs. an A cut, on average, per carat? What are several on-line sources to purchase these? Is this a marketing gimmick or real? Thank you. |

Heel2005, you can get an idea on average per carat prices from the statistic page: http://www.pricescope.com/repscope.asp E.g. for 1-1.49 crt range and G-VS1 it shows an average per carat $7300 for H&A and $6400 for 2A. There are different sources for H&A diamonds. If you'd make a search here and select Round H&A shape you'd see different vendors of H&A diamonds. However be aware that price of H&A stones depends very much on consistency of H&A pattern (see H&A standards on this site). Is it worth it? It is definitely more expensive *luxury* product. You have to decide for yourself. The best would be to find a jeweler in your area who cares H&A diamonds and compare them with others. Hope it helps |
