I came across a gorgeous setting on someone's blog.  The blog states that it is a Tiffany & Co ring but I have never seen it before.  Does anyone know what it is called or have more photos?

Hi CharmyPoo, I just looked at the entire Tiff and Co USA website, and I can't find that ring. I am guessing it's a Tiff replica, not the real deal maybe?!

Looks nice in profile though!

It kind of looks like it might be the ribbon ring to me.

eta-nope, just checked and it has a different side profile.

I also combed the entire website but I couldn't find it.  The blog owner lists a series of different rings from different designers - none of which are replicas and she seems to know what she is talking about.  I wrote to the blog owner so hopefully she will respond.  I will report back if I find out more.

I just love this profile.  Hopefully, I will find more photos.

I want to say it was called the lotus or something...it's a few years old, a bluebook item, and had an obscenely large diamond in it. It isn't one of their regular settings. But it is from Tiff & Co.

Now I'm not sure it was the lotus, but it is similar...this is the lotus:

i remember seeing that ring on the website, i'm pretty sure it was one of their one of a kind pieces that was temporarily housed on the site and was taken off once purchased. i believe that it held a 10ct stone.

mmmm...diamonds.....

bgray - I read the post that neatfreak sent.  It sounds like the lotus was a 6 prong design and it doesn't look like this one to me.  Any thoughts?

I still can't find another photo

Yours does look like 6 prongs to me. It shoes 3 in this side view and it looks like it splits from the middle and I would bet that there are another three on the other side...but I don't think it's the lotus because that was 8 prongs anyway.

Thanks for the clarification neatfreak.  Typo on my part.

omieluv - Thanks for the comparison.  They are not the same ring in my opinion.  Hopefully, someone will recognize it.

I think it is the tulip setting and it does have BIG stone in it. 10+ carats if I remember.

This is definitely a Tiffany ring, I've drooled over it several times. I just LOVE the profile! It was a ring in their signature something awhile ago, must have sold?? It was a very large center stone, something around 10 carats.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about this setting the whole day.  It's not often I fall completely in love with a setting and this one is the one.  It's too bad it just won't work as my e-ring since we have a cushion cut and the corners won't be protected in any way.  I am thinking of having a RHR ring made but it won't be a 10+ ct diamond ..

audball - I was wondering if you remember if the setting is 4 or 6 prong.  Does it have a split shank?  Any photos - please please!  Or just a description will help.

Thank you so much for the photos!!  This is sort of how I envisioned the rest of the ring to look and with the 4 prongs.  This is a great start for my next project.  Thanks thanks thanks!

Based on Resonance.Of.Life's hints, I figured the ring was called Tiffany Statement Round Brillant.  Low and behold - I found a face up photo!  It is beautiful but I am not loving it as much as the profile view.
