So on Sunday at 1 I have an appointment at a bridal boutique downtown and I'm kinda excited... Haha. I'm taking one of my bridesmaids with me and I REEEALLY hope that I find *the* dress! I don't want to have to go to ten million different places because I really only have weekends to go shopping, and my available weekend time is becoming less and less as I make appointments with photographers and bakeries etc. This place has a laundry list of designers that I really like so I'm crossing my fingers that my dress is there waiting for me! So... Cross your fingers for me and send me some dress dust please!

Keeping everything crossed for you! Don't be too disappointed though if you don't find it in the first shop-it took me three shops before I found mine but I knew as soon as I went into the shop that I would find it there-I loved 99% of the dresses in that shop.

WooO! So I just got back from my bridal dress excursion and I have several contenders! I will have the pics shortly I hope. I forgot my camera, again, but my bridesmaid that went with me took hers so she just has to email me the pictures. I will post them as soon as I get them! I need input from all you ladies! The first place we went to was nice and I did find one dress that I really love, but they said their ordering time was 6 months and my wedding is in 7 so that doesn't leave much time for alterations... Plus the ladies weren't very friendly and I felt like just another customer... But the dress was gorgeous! The second place was awesome! It was a small boutique owned by two great ladies who also coordinate weddings (which is great since I'm also looking for a day of coordinator...) and I loved just about every single dress in their store! I found this one Maggie Sottero that I fell IN LOVE with and wore it all over the store. There were also several others that I really liked, but they didn't fit me as well because they were a little small so it was kinda hard to tell how they would look in my size. But I really loved this place! And my bridesmaid found a dress that she loves and it comes in the shade of pink I want so I think we might order it for all the girls. Eeee I am just SO excited! It was a great day!

So the Maggie that I really liked is the Belinda. It's a lot more "princess" than I thought I would like, but it's gorgeous in person. I tried it on in white but would go with ivory.

No, man. A goober is a chocolate covered peanut. Although you look as yummy as chocolate, you bear no relation to any peanut I've ever met! I love the sweetheart neckline on you. Also, the bodice is spectacular! Not only does it show off your delicious hourglass shape, the way that the beaded, embroidered flower detail trails off into the wisps down the skirt is very unique, and VERY flattering.
