Has anyone heard of the ring designer Henrich & Denzel? My fiance and I are considering one of their settings and we are curious how they wear. The designs are machine stamped platinum and have a very architectual look. Let me know if anyone has heard of this designer.

Aren't they based in Germany? I am living in Berlin and their designs are EVERYWHERE (at least in the more sophisticated shops). Also, I remember H&D designs from London's Oxford Street (mid-range, modern style, meaning). However, this is a wholesale producer only, so the level of sservcie you arelikely to get depends on the retailer...

I know these are sold by Linde Meyer. Her store is located in one of Philadlphia's most beautiful and upscale shopping areas, Liberty Place. She was once the head of J. E. Caldwell, a well know name in the history of Philadlphia fine jewels although now a chain store of somewhat lesser acclaim than in the early 1900's.... She stocks some of the most current styles of modern mountings by artisans from all over. Not inexpensive, but some very different items. Maybe she could give you the selection choices from that design team...I would trust her to do the right thing. Honesty, no problem David S. Atlas |

I'm also looking at purchasing a ring from Henrich and Denzel, however the jeweler here is telling me that a certificate does not come with the ring. Is this standard? Thanks for the help!

---------------- For a relatively smaller diamond... yeah, I guess so. Even though you can find small diamonds with certs online. You can have the diamond graded in mounting by a lab or appraiser, although it is not quite the same thing (you wil get split grades, for ex.). Any diamond can be certified, Not sure what the H&D policy is. Since their designs are meant to be an exclusive lot, I am surprised by the lack of cert. Can you ask H&D (not the local retailer) about this ? It may yield a solution. ![]() Just my 0.2, of course. Ana "The greatest experts are only as good as the sum total of what they have seen."
