Yippee! I just got a call today letting me know that I got my job that I applied for! It took almost a month of interviewing but, I did it!

BIG Thank you to everyone! It has been an uphill battle both on the pocketbook and the mind!!!! I am definitely going to cherish this opportunity and make sure I start saving again! I will have to eat my words if I ever start complain about work again because it is so hard to find work and I should be grateful that I found another job!!!

Fantastic news! Glad to hear you landed the job!! I have noticed that it can take at least a month to go through the interview process these days. In my experience, I have found organizations wanting candidates to meet with 3-4 people, which can take time if meeting on different days. Then there is of course waiting time and then the time it takes an offer to be presented, negotiated and accepted/declined. Of course, if they are meeting with other candidates, that only extends the length of time.
