And will you please post your finger size? I wear a 4.5/4.75 and I have a 3mm.. I just want to see how much a difference it would make on my finger?

Hugs all~

I'm sorry I can't help--I just wanted to say I want to see them too!  I too have a 3 mm wedding band, and I'm thinking of getting a 2 mm instead... Actually I would like to see a 1.5 mm too if anyone has one!

Thanks! :)

SDL- here are 2 pictures of my old platinum 2mm from The Facets Collection, sizr 6.5.  Are you thinking of replacing your 3mm?  If I could give my honest opinion, I adore your heavy comfort fit 3mm with your e-ring!  To me, it's absolute perfection.  I'll also post a picture of my yellow gold 2.5mm for comparison.  Personally, I do see a difference between 3mm, 2.5mm and 2mm even though I've been told by a jeweler that there isn't a big visual difference.

Here's mine.. It's not the best pic, but it's the most zoomed out one I have.. It's a 2mm flat platinum band from eweddingbands.com

Finger size is 7.25

Feb~ You're so sweet. I love my band, but I did try on a 2.5mm half dome (which simply won't do.. I much prefer the heavy comfort fit I have). But I really really do want another band.. I agree there is quite a significant difference between the mm bands. I tried on a 2mm and found it to be oh too delicate for me. I love my 3mm, but I think I'd prefer it have been 18k for weight and color. :X Am I hideous? And I tried on the width of the 2.5 and did love it. I love the yellow band. :)

Heather, thank you for your post. Your rings are lovely. I did spy that site.

SDLady,

I think I have just the thing!

Here's my Signed Pieces (Facets/Raphael collection) WG, 2mm band. I am a size 4.75. I also have a 2mm pipe cut palladium band I got from e-weddingbands.com, if you're interested in seeing that.

That looks so nice on your hand. I tried on a 2mm band and it looked so thin. Is that one comfort fit? My band is a really really round comfort fit, almost like a pipe lol

Thank you! Yes, it's a comfort fit band (love how comfy those are!).

As for the band looking thin, sometimes the thickness tends to look exaggerated (either too thick or too thin) when you're looking at your own hand. Maybe you should take a picture of your own hand and see what it looks like then? Although, it could be that you have really long, elegant fingers (unlike mine) and that's why the band looks thin!

SDL: Where did you get your 3mm heavy comfort fit? I'd love to find one that is rounded like yours.

Feb~ You're so sweet. I love my band, but I did try on a 2.5mm half dome (which simply won't do.. I much prefer the heavy comfort fit I have). But I really really do want another band.. My jeweler, Jeff at John Franklin here in San Diego. In comparison to the comfort fit I tried on at the store, the weight difference was remarkable. Even the SA mentioned it. lol
