I am CLUELESS about wedding bands.  I have a Platinum Solitaire "Fine Line" engagement ring from Whiteflash (LOVE it, by the way).  This is the photo of the Fine Line ring from Whiteflash:

Whiteflash does not appear to sell any matching wedding bands.  Any ideas?  I have no clue what I'm doing...I'm not exactly sure how much "matching" I have to do with my wedding band...does it have to match?  Can I just get whatever or want or will that just look strange?  As you can see, I'm cluless...thanks for your help in advance...

I think it's really helpful to try on bands to see things like whether they sit at about the same height (or whether one is higher than the other), whether they sit flush next to each other or whether there is a gap, how the different widths look next to each other, whether the styles are pleasing to your eye when they are next to each other (sometimes two separately beautiful pieces just don't look great next to each other).  Maybe if you tried some on and found an idea of the width/style that you preferred, then you could continue searching online, but I would start with real life research first.

If you want a very simple band, www.e-weddingbands.com has great prices, great platinum quality, and lots of posters here have purchased from them.

Oh, and just a personal preference, but I personally think a fairly thin (2-3 mm) eternity band with pave/diamonds can look really nice next to a fairly simple solitare.

Hope this helps and enjoy the search!

I was just going to suggest that. I love solitaires paired with diamond bands. And no, your band does not have to match your engagement setting!
