 Wanting to upgrade my setting - please help!

Hi All,

I would really appreciate your help!  My engagement ring / wedding band set currently looks like this yellow setting (http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-engagement-ring-gold_6718?filter_id=1&collection_id=234).

I am looking to upgrade the setting and band to platinum and after much searching and thinking, I am thinking that I'd like to do something similar to the platinum ring set here (http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-engagement-ring-platinum_5427?filter_id=1).

I was thinking of buying the set from Blue Nile, but I can't buy just the setting from Blue Nile (without the center diamond).  I have a few questions:
1.  What do you think of the platinum set?
2.  Do you have any suggestions of where I should look to buy a set like the platinum one?
3.  How much I should be expecting to pay for it?  The band has 1 ct of diamonds (5 diamonds in all), and the engagement ring has 4 diamonds (total of .70 ct).  I was figuring that with the decrease in platinum prices, this would likely have an impact on the price of setting like this one...
