With the financial crisis spilling over into the commodity prices, specifically diamonds, do you think I should go ahead with this purchase now or wait?? I am looking at a 4 + ct Round, E-F, VS2 -SI1, Ideal Cut. Thank you in adivace for your help.

I wouldn't buy in the 4ct range right now unless I had to, I think they are over inflated due to speculation.
Wait a few months and see what happens if you can.
RAP just dropped on large stones and I think they will go lower.
But this advise is worth what you paid for it because no one can know for sure.
