60 days, MAX.!

MrsHToBe Cut Rock Total Posts: 215 Last Post: 11/24/2009 Member Since: 10/8/2008	It's the first day of November, and that can only mean one thing--if B sticks to his 'end of the year' timeline, I only have 60 days MAX. to wait for a proposal--my 'girlfriend' days will be over.. FOREVER! I know I've been incredibly impatient at times, waiting for this to happen, but I can honestly say now that I'm just going with the flow. Sure, I may think "Ooh, he could do it this way!" from time-to-time, but I'm not letting it stress me out if it doesn't happen.. nor am I thinking about it all day, day-after-day. When it all boils down, 60 days is not a big amount of time at all, especially when we've been together for almost 8 years. I just want to take the opportunity to think about all the good times we've shared as boyfriend/girlfriend before it's over, KWIM? Before the next step is here. Besides, there have been so, so many of those good boyfriend/girlfriend times.. our first kiss, our first time being intimate, the birth of our daughter, and so much more. Hopefully our engaged/married days will only continue to be amazingly wonderful. With a little bit of crazy mixed in, of course, or it wouldn't be 'us'. :P

Sounds like you already have such a beautiful life together, and the proposal coming up is just icing on the cake. What a great attitude you have! I have to tell you, I am in exactly the same place right now. I know it's coming soon, I had guessed sometime in October or November. Well, here it is November - I could be just weeks away! The closer I know it is, the less I am stressed about it. It's just fun to know it's coming, and we'll be on our way to being married soon! So happy that you're feeling so happy!
