fiery Ideal Rock Total Posts: 4,139 Last Post: 11/25/2009 Member Since: 5/18/2008	In light of finding out that Mr. Fiery and I are expecting, we had to decide whether to have the wedding in October or move the wedding up. I decided to move up. So we decided February 2009 but what day, we don't know. I proposed Feb. 21 which is a week after Valentine's Day but its still up in the air. There are only 3 days to choose from really (we want Sat. just not Valentine's Day). We have a ceremony location. It will be at the Spanish Monastery (http://www.spanishmonastery.com/). We're going to a restaurant tonight to check it out. There's one in Miami that we're considering and the one we're checking out is in Fort Lauderdale. Miami - I like this one because it has a completely private room for any size party but its a little too far south. Fort Lauderdale - I like this one because it has live music and is a really pretty restaurant, plus its closer. But the private room looks like it would have a minimum of much more than 15 people so we'll see. The guest list will be a whopping 12 people (mom, brothers, FILs, BIL/date, BF/hubby, FI's grandmother, and FI's bestfriend/date). I will invite my grandparents but the likelihood of them coming is very slim due to one grandfather being blind and ill and one grandmother being too ill to travel. So there you have it!

But after taking 5 tests and getting the same results, Im thinking we probably should be planning for this to be real. And thinking ahead, knowing us we wont want to spend a dime on a ceremony/reception no matter how small once a baby is in our lives. So thats why we decided February.

My mom and brothers know and theyre looking forward to the new addition. I also have an older cousin that knows who is being very supportive. We havent told my FIs parents because we want to go to the doctor first but I could only imagine that they would be equally happy. Im still in complete shock but dealing. My biggest concern right now is whether or not Im healthy and what I need to do going forward. Claud-I love Chispa. The food is very good and the overall atmosphere is great. Ive been to the one in Doral. And theyre affordable which is great. Kama-Not sure how far long I am. Im guessing just a few weeks. Bobbin-Thank you so much! Ill keep everyone updated. Hopefully I can get a Drs appointment for this Thursday.
