dcgator Cut Rock Total Posts: 344 Last Post: 8/31/2009 Member Since: 8/15/2008	Hello miss red and all my other South Florida brides-to-be I was just wondering if you had picked you venue(s) yet. I am heading down from DC next weekend to possibly pick mine, and am really excited! There is a possibility we could pick one in Nashville (since we are heading there the weekend after) but b/c of the lack of places that will accommodate so may people and allow you to party past 10:00 pm with alcohol, I am leaning toward South Florida. Anywho, let me know what you all have booked so far and maybe we can swap opinions/recs on vendors too! Thanks

What do you mean though by going through with it, is everything ok? Well, next weekend we are in Fl. We are going to tour the W Ft. lauderdale, Marriott Harbour Beach, Diplomat, and the Palms South Beach. We are also going to meet with some photgraphers and officiants. On that note, have you heard of Sara Kausse? We are looking at her or another one that is Tampa based that I discovered through another BIW. Which are you going with? Also, I would love any imput you have on dj's b/c I have no clue, other than what weddingwire says. Thanks chica!

I've been out of the country and LOL Everything is fine, we just don't know whether to elope, do something small with immediate family, or something a little bigger. The website is www.epevent.com. It's def. different from the usual but still beautiful! All of those places you mentioned are . Haven't heard of Sara Kausse. The DJs I've heard that are supposed to be very good are Vision DJs and DJ Ubi. They're both pretty affordable (think $595 for 4 hours) and they do uplighting if interested. Keep me posted!!

Hey hon, Sorry you are pooped. I used to travel too much for work and I know how that goes. But, I will be right there with you, as I am traveling the next three weekends plus running a half-marathon...ahh! Anywho, so why do you all want to elope now, too much stress or something? Sorry to hear that if it is. But if you just want to do something exclusive and small, go for it! It's your wedding so you should do w/ever you want to, right If you haven't booked a photog yet, you should def check out Sara, her stuff is really good. She is based in W. Let me know if you need help with anything, as I seem to abuse your knowledge. Also, I hope everything works out ok in regards to the decision about the wedding size/type
