$2.60 last time I filled up but apparently it's cheaper now. I don't drive much so I only have to get gas about once a month!

I was wondering cause we just went through Hurricane Ike and gas has been going down once we had a steady supply. I heard that it was in short supply on the Southeast Coast after the hurricane. Lori My Pretty Kitty Coco |

$2.35 this morning in Southern MA. Since I commute to a suburb of the city I have noticed that gas prices closer to the city are between $2.50 and $2.70. Good thing my Corolla gets over 33 MPG! ***The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you can not do.*** |

$2.68 this morning in southern IN. I could totally live with paying $2, sadly... but I will take $2.50 or so. $4 was killing me!

It's been hanging around 2.60-2.90 in Eastern Iowa - about .10 higher if you cross the river into Illinois. ETA: Shoot, I just looked at the gas ticker - today the lowest price in the Quad Cities is 2.29. Maybe I should go top off!

Date: 10/24/2008 5:17:02 PM with this globe recession the world is flooded with oil. the middle eastern countries say they'll cut production, but they all cheat and just keep on pumping oil out of the ground b/c oil is their main source of income. i was LMAO when somebody predicted on CNBC that oil price would hit $190 per barrel by yr end. in fact, i told my friends a month ago when gas was selling for $3.60 per gal that i'll sell them some for $3.00 per gal that day and i'll deliver the gas by thanksgiving.
