The day was perfect - my only complaint is that it went by too fast and I really regret not being able to spend time with more guests. It was a hot 85 degrees with not a cloud in the sky. We were surrounded by our loved ones (from near and far - including the UK and Australia!) and it was a joyful, fun day. I will post more details as I get photos - I have no idea when the professional ones will roll in, but my friends have been sending their random shots. I haven't had time to go through all of them, but I wanted to share with you my incredible bridesmaid bouquets as well as some of the church decor, and our AMAZING wedding cake that was as delicious as it was beautiful! :) Handbags always fit!

They were composed of black magic roses, gloriosa lilies, lime cockscomb, hypernicum berries and peacock feathers. I truly loved them more than my own bouquet (which was a simple and FRAGRANT stephanotis and gardenia nosegay). Here is a gorgeous bridesmaid bouquet against the beautiful Liberty Blue bridesmaid dress... Handbags always fit!

Three tiers - two quilted, one with a fleur de lis design on each face. I am hoping to get better photos of the cake because it completely blew me away. You see it here surrounded by the bridesmaids bouquets and my gardenia/stephanotis bouquet in the middle. Handbags always fit!

I have some others, but they show my bridesmaids close-up and I would prefer to wait for their permission. A candid shot of the photographer taking a photo before the wedding! Handbags always fit!

My dress was by Rosa Clara, but I made some major tweaks (changed the shape of the skirt by adding some layers of crinoline, changed the neckline to modified sweetheart, added crystal Monique Lhuillier belt). The dress was basically torn apart and put back together again, as it was ordered a few sizes too big. I'm amazed it turned out as well as it did -- my only complaint was that the lace on the bodice ended up being a little too loose and it bothered me a bit on the day of. Handbags always fit!

I really wasn't sure how the peacock feathers would turn out -- a lot of people questioned my ideas in using them, but I think they came out really cool! Handbags always fit!
