ams0124 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 934 Last Post: 8/11/2009 Member Since: 8/6/2008	I wanted to just give a little (ok maybe not so little) update and tell you all how awesome this weekend was!! WARNING MIGHT BE LONG!!! Thursday we went to the Melting Pot for our anniversary. The food was amazing (of course). BF and I had such an awesome talk about our future. We talked about how happy we were to be on the same page at the same time in our relationship, and how we're both looking forward to taking the next step. He definitely said that we'll be engaged by the end of year (that's less then 3 months!!) We even talked about the weddding...we decided that we wanted a winter wedding next year!! Most likely either right before or right after Thanksgiving. We even came up with really cool favors for our guests!! It was such a great night! Friday we went to my grandparents 51st wedding anniversay dinner. It was such a cool feeling to come from our 1 year dating anniversary to their 51st wedding anniversay...It was just like looking on to something we hoped for our future together...celebrating with kids and grandkids...It was such a cool and almost sureal night. I loved sitting back and looking at how BF acts with my family, and to see how comfortable he is with them and vise versa. Another great night! Saturday we went to the puppy rescue in the morning to see if we could find a friend for our Happy dog. No luck, but maybe next weekend...Then FSIL, roommate, and I went to the spa...BF got us a gift certificate to this great spa. We got a body scurb treatment (shea butter treatment...I smelled like a brownie), and a massage, a facial, and our makeup done...It was so relaxing and sooo needed!! BF even watched FSIL's baby for her while we were gone (almost 6 hours)...I don't think the poor guy had ever changed a diaper until then...but he did great, and it made him want even more kids then he did before. . Then that night he had all of his friends over so they could brew beer..(BF makes his own beer instead of buying it...It saves money and it gives him "guy time"). He deserved it! He's been working so hard lately and has been so stressed out...I'm glad that his brew date came when it did. It was a good night (and full of laughter when you get about 10 guys together and add beer) Sunday we watched football. He suggested that I have some of the girls over since it was a frat house the night before...(quick background: we have another couple living with us right now, a friend of his from way back and his FI, until they find a house. Me and friends FI have become really close and we have started a Sunday baking tradition). Anyway my BF suggests that we have some of the other girls over and have Sunday Baking with more than just the two of us...HE COOKED dinner for the 4 girls, himself, and his friend (other roommate), we ate and then baked almost 100 chocolate chip cookies and some rice krispy treats (in orange for halloween) and BF even got all of us little pie pumpkins to carve. It was such a cute gesture. We really had fun with it. So that was my weekend. It was a pretty good one. It was full of more reasons why I'm so happy that I get to spend the rest of my life with this guy. . Hopefully in the near future BF will become FI and I'll get to come back to PS after a weekend with a proposal story and a ring! Thanks for reading all of this!!! It was just such a good weekend and I was so excited to share with fellow LIW's (I knew you would understand my excitement)
