Been reading the forums for a while, great information here.  Have been looking to make a ring similar to the Novo.  Saw the Ritoni setting and also the Gabriel from GOG.  I wanted a Square H&A but there seems to be better deals out there.  I was recommended this cushion cut and am wondering what everyone thinks of it.  Looks very nice to me as I was worried about the fire with a cushion.  My knowledge is pretty limited.  Worried about the microscopic on it.  Thanks

Nothing to worry about with this one if you like the facet pattern and it's eyeclean. It's beautiful! Jon won't steer you wrong...you can always ask to make sure that inclusion they point to isn't an issue, they'll be honest with you.

I agree!

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...

Thanks, Sara steered me to it as she says it was beautiful. I was set on a H&A pattern but seems I can get a better deal with the cushion. This one seemed to have a very symmetric pattern. I was just worried about the fire and sparkle with the diamond. This one looked like it had a lot of life in the video. I want the diamond to be lively and I know cushions are not normally that way.

TOTALLY not true. A well cut cushion is EXTREMELY lively. Just unfortunately many of the cushions out there are pretty bad...

I used to have the Ritani, and personally I think the head is a lot nicer. BUT if you want a Novo look alike the Gabriel certainly looks more like the Novo IMO.
