My new find - diamond band..

Its an approx. 0.5ct channel set diamond band, 14k WG. I've yet to confirm the specs, so hopefully I will be able to share that tomorrow. I know channel set is not popular much around here, and I also thought I wouldn't like it - But funny how things change when you actually get to try different styles on! It is sooo pretty - very white and sparkly, and all the sweeter as I got it for a bargain basement price Anyway, onto the pics ! I have no idea on the dimensions - its probably about 3mm at the top, but it gets quite wide and heavy at the bottom, maybe to around 4mm? Like you, I thought I wouldn't love channel-set ... until I tried them on in person and fell in love. I think it's the magnification that puts a lot of people off of them: the gaps that are huge at 100x aren't really noticable IRL (that, or it's the backlash against their intense popularity a while ago). Congratulations on a beautiful find! And, please, more pics ...

I agree, I think there is part backlash and part magnification - either way, the gaps are hardly noticeable IRL and its very pretty imo.. Isn't it funny though how we convince ourselves we will not like certain things? So, good news, I took it to 2 different jewellers today, and it checks out a-ok - There are 9 diamonds at 6 points each, total 0.54ct. The colour is G/H and clarity VS2 - which is exactly what I was told it is I am impressed with the quality and will buy from this seller again I do have couple more pics, although its a bit overcast today..
