We've had a lot of requests for and acquisitions of beautiful new blue sapphires. I thought it might be nice to compile them all in one thread.

So....... post 'em if you got em!!

Mine is an 8mm Madagascar sapphire with a beautiful native cut. It is heated and mounted in a platinum trellis setting by Mark Morrell. I love it sooo much!

Well if you insist.

I think I had it before you joined the forums which is probably why you haven't seen it.

WOWZA
Everyone's sapphires are all so gorgeous and velvety blue.  I don't know what it was about Diana's sapphire ring, but it always looked so black to me.  Maybe it was just how the photographs came out or something?

All yours are just TDF!!

I'm expecting a purple sapphire in the mail.  We'll see how that turns out.  I never purchased a sapphire before except for some small yellow ones once.

cushioncutnut - Are your sapphire earrings actually removable jackets?  If so, can you give a close-up without the diamond stud?  I'm planning to have some made with some of my gemstone pairs.

Wonderful pictures, everyone!!!

NF: did you reset your stone? The setting looks different than I remember, I don't recall baguette side stones...

My new sapphire pair, along with my sapphire and diamond cross set in platinum.  I've had the cross for many years.  One of my few good pieces before discovering PS!

Have you decided how to set the matched set yet, FlyGirl?

Went through your threads again: it's stunning! I missed the 2nd thread so really enjoyed those pics.

WOW, everyone's sapphires are AMAZING!

Finally I can contribute instead of just drooling! Here's my new guy, and I luckily just got another picture of him from NSC! Now I think I just might need a pair of matching earrings like cushioncutnut's.....
