I have been looking for a diamond to replace the on in my stolen ring. I have gone from being an ignorant consumer to a slightly (I repeat, slightly) educated one right now. Atleast, I have a better understanding of what I am looking for. I have never even spoken to Joshua and have not purchased anything from DC so I am giving a totally unbiased opinion. I emailed him about a stone the other day. I didn't realize it at the time, but I also emailed other vendors about the same stone (it came up on different sites)It clicked when I realized the stock or item # were the same.

Joshua was the only person that went out of his way to tell me that the inclusions were eye visable. He saved me a load of time and effort and I want to thank him publicly.

I had a similar experience. I emailed Joshua about a stone that I was very interested in. Joshua spoke with the wholesaler, had him check the stone, and then sent me an email telling me that the stone was not eyeclean and that he would not recommend it for purchase. I recognize that this falls under the category of "just doing his job," but given that we are living in a day and age where service in a wide array of industries is slipping to the point of being either nonexistant or outright deceptive, I found Joshua's honesty to be rather refreshing.

Sursum Corda!

I worked briefly with Joshua at DCD too last November...he was very informative and quick with responses via email. The only thing they were not able to do with me (and this ultimately led to us purchasing offline) was get me pictures of the stone itself so that I could see the SI1 inclusion. The wholesaler did not have pictures, nor could I really get an 'assurance' of it being eye clean from anyone. So we passed on the stone....but I emailed Joshua after and let him know we had purchased offline and thanked him for his time.

I also worked with Josh this past March and purchased a great diamond for my Fiance. He was prompt in returning my emails and great to deal with on the phone. I am glad to see he is establishing himself here on PriceScope. I also think DCD is a great company. I read about KoKo's experience and all I have to say is I am impressed with the response Jim posted and how it is being followed up with.

Thanks DCD and thank you Josh for all your help.

I'm looking at a stone on DCD and have been corresponding with Joshua for a little bit now, he really is helpful and he's assured me that the SI2 stone I want is indeed eye-clean. That means a lot to me because it's so hard to buy SI graded stones online.

Anyway, I'm narrowing in on the purchase and I'll let you know how it goes.
