![]() This is the veil I bought, but now I am second guessing myself. Would a mantilla be too busy w/ my dress? I love the look of long veils, but when I tried to walk (it was a plain veil, not a mantilla), it just clumped up and looked awful. I also love the look of mantillas, but do you think it would be too busy of a look w/ my gown? help, I am going mad here

Love the dress! I actually think this veil looks perfect; it mirrors the cascading lines of the mermaid shape. That's also one of my favorite lengths. I think a mantilla would look a little out of place with a dress that has no lace on it...but this may be because I'm not a fan of mantillas. Anyway, I'd stick with that one!

I almost went with the mantilla but decided against it, it draws too much attention away from the face. I would say since your gown has minor detailing like mine, go with the plain one you have on.

I love the veil you have on in the picture - that length is perfect. I'd probably add a little more sparkle, either scattered around or on the edge.

I love the veil that you chose. It looks like there are little sparklies on the gown and on the veil. I think they go beautifully together. A mantilla veil will cover the back of your dress which has beautiful details and it may look to overwhelming. I tried one of those on at first, and decided against it. I am going with a veil that is about the length of yours and I love it.

Just my 2 cents, but I think the veil you are wearing is gorgeous AND the edges of it match the details of your dress

Mintve, I actually didn't notice the sparkles when I first saw your veil, but I just went back and I see them on the edges. I initially thought your veil didn't have any, which is why i suggested sparkles. I really do like the one you have on, it's gorgeous. I haven't added rhinestones to net before, but you can get rhinestones with little holes on the side to stich it in into the veil, or peel and stick rhinestones, which would be easier. The right way is to use hot glue, but that's messy and I wouldn't suggest it if you're not an expert. I love your veil, especially now that I can see the sparkles on it! It goes really well with your dress. Stick with it! ![]()
