Im having second thoughts on the stone i picked... im paying $8700.00 for: 1.36 round H VS1. i dont have all the other specs on me at the momment. i wanted to get a 1.50 but decdied to scarifice the size for better overall quality. Now im just wondering if i went to a Color I and VS2 if i could still stay at the same prcie range. but move up closer to a 1.50?? Am i just being crazy or is the 1.36 a nice size? im just getting the butterfiles debating if i should have gone with a lower color and quality and gone with the bigger stone. o well i pick it up tommrow and i will post pics ASAP for u guys |

IMO, you won't notice too much of a difference between a 1.36 and a 1.5. It sounds like it is a nice stone from the specs you have provided... Best of luck to you! We'd love to see pics!

You're fine! And it's totally normal to question your purchase, esp. with something this big! I promise it'll be beautiful, and really once it's set you would never notice the mm difference between a 1.36 and a 1.5.

my FI has upgraded my ering (solitaire) from 1.20 to 1.50 because we both can see the size difference between the two stone.. so I would suggest you see a 1.50 stone side by side with 1.36 stone and see which one you like most.. Good luck! Got rock? |

hhmm.. the drop from vs1 to vs 2 is not the much... I would be more concerned that the color is drop from G to I because I'm color sensitive... Is it possible of you can see both diamond IRL side by side? This way, your eyes will decide which diamond you like the best... Got rock? |
