Hi Everyone,

First of all thanks for the advice that's everyone has already provided me. Now that I've selected a diamond, I'd be curious to hear people's opinion about the quality and design differences between ERD and LM in the construction of the ring. I originally was going to go with LM for the design as I think his rings are beautiful and it sound from everyone I've heard on this board that his quality is excellent, but I've also received a price quote from ERD for the construction of the ring and it's $1500 cheaper.

The design is going to be similar to the Tiffany Legacy ring. Any advice??? Has anyone had rings made by ERD?

Thanks!

If budget is not an obstacle, although EDR has done some beautiful work, I would go with LM. To me, he is worth every penny. Just my humble opinion.

Let me immediately say that Leon will NOT want to make a Legacy repro.  If you see one of his designs that you want, then that would be great.  I think Mark does great work. But I'd probably go with Maytal Hannah for a Legacy repro. She has worked for Tiffany and knows their work. She is also a perfectionist and her work shows it.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
There are many BEAUTIFUL legacy and harry winston type rings coming out of Mark's shop. Do a search and you will find many. My ring is very different from the legacy, but ERD did a fabulous job with my custom design requests and the end result was just what I wanted. So I personally would recommend Mark in a heartbeat. Maytal's work IS also fabulous though, so check her out too!
I think many PSers would put Leon in a class of his own.  I did take a look at all three mentioned in this thread and decided to go with Maytal Hannah although we bought our diamond from ERD.   I think ERD does good work but Maytal was a better fit for my boyfriend in terms of designing the setting.   It doesn't hurt to do the price comparisons - I was surprised at how big the price difference was between the three.
